Grand Bahama Island COVID-19 Information
The health and well-being of all who enter or reside in The Bahamas remain the number one priority, and diligent efforts are enforced to minimize the spread of COVID-19. The following travel and entry protocols have been put in place to ensure The Bahamas is a safe and clean destination for all to enjoy during the Dana’s Tuna Frenzy Tournament.
VACCINATED TRAVELERS
- Effective 19 June 2022 fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country. Instead, valid proof of vaccination must be presented before boarding a flight to The Bahamas.
UNVACCINATED TRAVELERS
- Effective 19 June 2022, all unvaccinated travelers ages 2 and older will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test — either a negative RT-PCR test or a Rapid Antigen test — taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to travel and present the negative test results at check-in before travel to The Bahamas.
- Children under the age of 2 are exempt from any testing requirements.
NOTE: COVID-19 testing is no longer required for persons traveling inter-island (domestic) within The Bahamas, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status (unvaccinated or fully vaccinated).
State-Side COVID-19 Test or Antigen Test
For quick and easy COVID-19 testing we highly recommend Lab Doctor which costs $179.00 including a next-day result.
